Europe Travel Update
It’s been awhile since an update and here’s what I’ve been up to. End of May and beginning of June I went on vacation to France for 2 weddings, an anniversary and some family time.
I’m sharing a few photos of our trip and will post later on with more details on each place we visited.
We went to Paris and it was our hub for our trip since my sisters live there and I get to see them.
Then we were off to Bretagne or Brittany in English for a friends’ wedding. Land of Oysters, Crepe and Kouign-amann (this buttery and caramel pastry). We also went to a small port town Cancale known for it’s Oyster Market. It was so picturesque.
Next we spent one week in the south of France to visit Julien’s parents. It always nice to go to the Provence because we get to recharge and the weather is usually better there than the rest of France. I baked with delicious and fresh ingredients.
While Julien went home, I was off to the United Kingdom for another friend’s wedding. I was able to watch a musical, ate my way around the Borough Market and visited the Queen in London. My friends’ wedding was held in Devonshire, land of clotted creams and scones.
